Take a break in Alnwick
Family-sized self-catering accommodation
27 Pottergate is a four bedroom townhouse in the heart of Alnwick’s historic Conservation Area.
Architect designed: The house was built in 2004 as part of a small award-winning redevelopment scheme by Rivergreen Developments and Jane Darbyshire & David Kendal, Architects.
It is located just around the corner from Alnwick Castle, where the Percy Family has lived since 1309, and a minute’s walk the other way from the market place, which has probably been used by local farmers and tradesmen since Saxon times.
Alnwick Garden (pictured) is only a seven minute walk through the town centre.
A quote from our first visitors...
"What a privilege to be the first people to stay in this fabulous house! Very well equipped and the comfiest beds in the world. Thank you so much for all your help and attention to detail." (The Johnsons, Staffordshire)
Alnwick's Year-round charm

It is surrounded by lovely countryside with charming villages and quiet country roads. Northumberland Heritage Coast is one of the most beautiful in Europe, with long sandy beaches, sand dunes, ancient castles, the Farne Islands and Lindisfarne, and an abundance of wildlife. Alnwick is just 3 miles from Alnmouth on the coast.
